Much needed care and attention is happening at The Maltings

Last week we had a message saying that the theatre seating was looking old and dirty and Spotted in Ely reported that to Ely City Councillor Liz Every to which a meeting was called.
Cllr Every reported back that the matter was being looked at and explained that groups who use the hall are responsible for cleaning the seating. That said the theatre pull out is now very old and in need of much attention.
To replace the whole seating area would cost thousands of pounds that are just not available at this time.
Today, The Maltings announced that the seating area is currently receiving a full long overdue service ready for a deep cleanse next week.
