National Poetry Day 2020

National Poetry Day was founded in 1994 and is a celebration of poetry in all it’s forms.

Everyone is encouraged to join in and discover, share and create poems. There’s all kinds of events in all kinds of places – check out National Poetry Day website for more. 

There’s also a vibrant local poetry scene with a range of upcoming events – currently online.

FenSpeak is Ely’s poetry, spoken word and storytelling event. The next one is online via Zoom on October 21st – please sign up via Eventbrite. Tickets are free, with donations taken on the night.
