Online Activities at 1094 Ely Squadron

As part of their ongoing online activities at Ely Squadron The Operation Energise Cadet Instructor Team took over the bandwidth to present the first episodes of “Cadet News” and “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Cadet” two new programmes on “Channel 1094” the new “Cadet TV” channel.

Master Cadet Finn Elcombe and Senior Cadet Lizzy Haward were the show’s presenters and delivered a lively fun and educational evening.

Two Virtual appointments of Civilian Instructors were also made by our OIC Flying Officer Donoghue to CI’s Ben Wilson and Dave Russellcook.

Leading Cadet Classifications were awarded to Cdt Oliver Bennett, Cdt Yanki Ertem, and Cdt Harry Talbott with Senior Cadet Classifications being awarded to Cadet Lizzy Haward and Polly Nickless.

Two Junior NCO’s were also promoted tonight and the Squadron welcomed the promotions of Corporal Polly Nickless and Corporal Finn Elcombe.

Congratulations to all those who received their just rewards tonight for all their hard work and dedication throughout lockdown.

1094 (Ely) Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets are recruiting cadets and adult volunteers now in preparation for the return to full cadet activities.
