Soham Carnival Donate Funds Back into the Community

For the past 66 years the Carnival has been staged every year to raise money to go back into the local community.

This year the Carnival raised £6,500 to donate to various Schools, Charities, Clubs and Organisations.

Our main beneficiaries this year were Friends of Soham Village College and Soham Food Bank who both received donations of £1,500

Other beneficiaries included, Soham Bowls Club, Soham Community Group, Ely Parkinsons Support Group, Kuk Sool Won Ely, Over 60’s Club, The Crescent Ammenities Fund, Soham First Responders, Pos+ability, Elysian Riding for Disabled, Moylyn Care, 2nd Soham Scout Group, 1st Soham Guides, Nellie Tuk Tuk, Viva, Soham Comrades Band, KD Academy, Riverside Club, Soham Museum, Soham Town Rangers and North Chapel.

If you would like to get involved with the 2020 Carnival, the AGM is to be held at The Ship Public House, Soham on 12th November at 7.00pm followed by the first meeting of the new committee.

The 2020 Carnival is to be held on Monday 25th May at the Recreation ground Soham. Already confirmed to headline the 2020 Music Stage is local band Max Headroom.
