Kathryn Rowland, a highly experienced professional musician, and Sing! Choirs Musical Director said “I am so thrilled with the success of Sing! Choirs and I am absolutely delighted with the support, energy and commitment of all my members.  They are amazing, and they sound amazing too when they Sing!  I am so proud of everyone – in addition we have also raised almost £10,000 for charity in just one year which is super!”

With the addition of GO Sing! for young people aged 8 years and above, Kathryn is excited to get as many people as possible Sing!-ing as it with so much research into the benefits of singing together, it can only be a great thing to do!  GO Sing! formed back in January 2015 and has seen lots of young people, boys and girls, enjoying singing together – they even got to sing alongside the 150 strong Sing! Choirs on stage in Cambridge and played an extremely starring role!  GO Sing! get to choose the songs they want to sing, and include many current songs, and they are then especially arranged for GO Sing!
There are lots of exciting plans for Sing! Choirs and GO Sing! during 2016 – in 2015 they sang in many places ranging from Royal Festival Hall, London through to West Road Concert Halls, Cambridge to entertaining the Ely Twinning Association in The Maltings, and supporting Arthur Rank Hospice Charity Ely Festive 5K.
