Opens at the Babylon Gallery Saturday 14 May – meet the artists this Saturday 2 – 4pm
An exhibition of new contemporary textile work opens at the Babylon Gallery on Ely’s Waterside on Saturday 14 May and continues to Sunday 12 June.
stitch-links are a group of 5 contemporary textile artists who are scattered around East Anglia, London and Kent, who meet regularly for discussions, workshops and gallery visits.
The pieces created for their Babylon exhibition reflect the diverse way in which they work, one working with translucent natural hand dyed fabrics, another in three dimensions using felt combined with metal. All have created very unique textile works for this show.
You can meet the artists this Saturday at the exhibition launch from 2-4pm. Entry to the Exhibition is free, open Tuesday – Sunday 12 – 4pm. Find out more www.babylonarts.org.uk
