High achieving (and reaching) basketball players from across the area were recently awarded during the East Cambs Warriors Basketball Club AGM.
A number of players were recognised for their contributions to the club and were presented with trophies on July 20.
The club’s Facebook page said: “It has been a long and successful season with our first ever club title.”
In the Under 14 team Alex Jacobs was named Most improved player, while Lucas Everett-Green scooped the prize for Most Valuable player. The Players Most Valuable player was Isaac Jackson.
In the Under 16 team, the Most improved player trophy went to Andrew Needham. Luke Mason was named Most Valuable player and the Players Most Valuable player was Aurimas Sileris.
Tom Smith got the Under 18’s Most improved player award while Matt Juden was given the title of Most Valuable player. The Players Most Valuable player was Alex Needham.
And in the Senior Team Alex Needham also walked away with the prize for Most improved player. The Most Valuable player was Glen Kerrison and the Players Most Valuable player award was scooped by Tim Evans.
