‘She warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within…’
CAT THEATRE ARE BACK WITH BEAUTY AND THE BEAST THE PANTOMIME – COMING TO ELY VERY SOON.  Following on from the huge success and standing ovations of Sister Act The Musical in June of this year, CAT Theatre Company will be back in December with the all-time favourite pantomime production of Beauty and the Beast.  Featuring a local all-star cast with loveable characters, some upbeat musical numbers including We Built This City and Shake Your Tail Feather, and superb choreography by Stephanie Mills, trust that this is a production you do not want to miss.
Director of Beauty and the Beast, Becky, said: “What I love about this production is that the story reminds us not to be deceived by appearances and goes back to the old saying that “beauty is only skin deep”.  Watching this production come to life with talented local people of all ages involved has been great. Rehearsals have been hilarious and I am more than pleased with the results so far.  In true pantomime tradition, nobody is going to be disappointed with this one.  Beauty and the Beast will make you want to get up and groove with Beauty, the Prince and a host of other beautiful characters including Lumiere, and as always there are a few surprises thrown in as well.  This is fun for all the family and you don’t want to miss it.”
Performances are being held at Ely College on 15th-17th December 2016 at 7.30pm and 2.30pm (matinee) on 17th only. Doors open 30 minutes before each performance. Tickets are £12 for adults and £10 for those under 12 (20% discount for under 12s tickets on Thursday 15th December). Available from Burrows Bookshop, Ely or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/cately.
