Ely St John’s Primary School is looking for a Midday Supervisor to work here during the lunchtime period. The successful applicant will join our merry band to work in one of our three teams of middays.
Middays are on duty daily for 1 hour 15 minutes.
Payment is at Scale 1C Point 8-10 depending on experience.
The main duties of a Play Leader are:
- To supervise pupils during the lunch period, in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises, ensuring the safety, physical and mental well-being of pupils and the maintenance of good order and discipline, following our EJ Way Behaviour Code.
- To lead children in playing games together, modelling good sportsmanship. To discourage any anti-social behaviour in a positive way.
- To ensure that all pupils who suffer any injury or accident are dealt with appropriately in accordance with the school’s agreed procedures. All our middays become First Aid trained.
